Septarian Heart
Septarian was formed during the Cretaceous Period, around 50 to 70 million years ago.
The name comes from the Latin word “septum” which means “partition” and refers to the cracks found in the stone.
It is composed of Calcite (the yellow portion), Aragonite (the brown lines), and Limestone (the grey areas).
This stone brings calming energies which have a nurturing feel to them and can bring feelings of joy and spiritual uplifting.
It is also used to assist with communication with Mother Earth.
