Agate is  mostly made up of Chalcedony and Quartz.
There have been deposits of this stone found all over the world including Brazil, Mexico., the United States and Poland.
It is characterised by its banded pattern and is found in a range or colours including grey, red, brown, yellow, orange and white.

Tourmalinated Quartz is believed to protect the wearer from negative thoughts and emotions.
It is thought to provide a balancing of yin/yang energies and release negative patterns.
